| Master Carpenter Ken K designed and built this table
along with several others, and
has published detailed plans on
the Primo Forum. Many of the
home-built tables on this page
are variations on Ken's designs,
which feature great looks,
sturdiness, and portablility.

| |
| |
 | A variation on the basic Ken K design, with shelf and top extending outside the legs,
and a stainless steel plate to protect the wood
during ash removal.
|
|
| |
| |
| Here's a treatment of Primo's Large Cypress Table, featuring
a glossy finish and a stainless
steel plate to shield the wood
during ash removal.

|
|
| |
| |
| A place for everything... This totally custom table
features a stone tile top,
built-in cutting board,
storage shelf, storage
drawer and storage
cupboard with doors!

| |
Heavy Metal
Powder coated welded aluminum
square stock with diamond embossed
polished aluminum panels, topped
with a solid slab of brown granite.
This one outta survive a cookout or two...
| | |
|
|
| |
| |
 | Another Ken K mod, this one featuring cleverly designed holders that turn
standard plastic storage tubs into
pull-out storage drawers.
Bonus: Red Racing Wheels!
|
|
| |
| |
| Here's a treatment of Primo's Compact Cypress Table, featuring
a golden brown stain job, glossy
finish and stainless shielding plate.
Another nice addition is the
open - slat bottom shelf.

|
| |
| |
| Jim G's mod of a Ken K table, with the Oval XL moved way over to
one side to make room for the large,
inset granite working surface.
No wheels on this heavyweight;
evidently, it stays right where it is.
|
| |
|
| |
| |
| A very stout-looking table with rustic finish. The Primo
Kamado is offset to provide
a large workspace, and a
smaller companion table
offers a tile top and additional
shelf storage.
| | |
|
|
| |
| |
 | Once upon a time... David wanted an Oval XL, and Stephanie wanted a Junior.
Looks like everybody wins in this compromise, which is
actually two granite-topped and granite-seated wheeled tables
that fit together to form one impressive cooking station.
|
| |
| |
| What do you mean, a table? Made out of wood?
This is TEXAS, man!
Ryan's stone cooking station
houses his Oval XL, gas grill,
storage cubpoard and fridge,
Texas-style (note that the beer
cooler is centrally located).
| | |
|
|
| |
| |
| Rod located the oval opening in the middle of the laminate-covered top,
leaving workspace on both sides of
the Oval XL in this Ken K table mod.
Note how the custom riser adds a little
extra safety cushion to the airspace
under the "shoes."
|
| |
|
| |
| |
| | Another model with inboard legs. This one features an extra-stout
lower shelf and ceramic tile top
with matching top edging.
Hey George, next time you paint the
fence, throw a coat on those white
feet: would look spectacular, we're
thinking.

|
|
| |
| |
 | This Ken K. mod features a redwood frame with black granite tile insets on
both sides. The Primo XL sits on a slab
of "typhoon bordeaux" granite, left over
from a kitchen remodel.
The Sun God, fountain and pond
were another project...
|
|
| |
| |
| With inboard legs, inset marble work surface and high-gloss finish
on both shelves, this sturdy cart
looks right at home next to the
rough-hewn deck pillars.
Nothing better than bbq in the snow...
| | |
|
|
| |
| |
| A really nice compact cart, showing off the beautiful wood
grain and tile working surface.
True bbq chefs will appreciate the
convenient tool hooks.
We like the front-mounted bottle
opener.
|
| |
|
| |
| |
 | |
| A solid slab of recycled redwood tops this giant 2-cooker station. We just had to include the front view, showing storage shelves, drawer and cupboards. |
