Hearth requirements: non-combustible floor protection required, same size as footprint of stove

Rear Plate to Backwall... 1"

B:

Side Plate to Sidewall below top plate... 3/8"
Side Plate to Sidewall above top plate... 2"
Side Plate to Sidewall extending beyond front of stove... 2"

C:

Centerline Flue to Backwall above top plate... 6-9/16"

D:

Centerline Flue to Sidewall above top plate... 5-7/8"

E:

Minimum Hearth Width.... 35-3/4"

F:

Minimum Hearth Depth, if No Backwall... 21-3/8"
Minimum Hearth Depth from Backwall..... 22-3/8"

 

Minimum Alcove Dimensions:
Below Top Plate: Min. 36-1/2" Wide
Above Top Plate: Min. 39-3/4" Wide
