With the Tucson DX, Hearthstone offers a gas stove designed with the radiant heat-life properties of soapstone or optional brown granite. With their high thermal mass, the elegant polished stone panels store excess heat and gently release warmth into the home, avoiding the uncomfortable temperature fluctuations of other stoves.

NEW: The redesigned Tucson DX features ProFlame™ ignition: the safety pilot is off when the stove isn't in use, resulting in considerable fuel savings. And you needn't give up the peace of mind a safety pilot brings: an electronic igniter with battery backup automatically lights the safety pilot every time you call for heat.

ALSO NEW: Heat Wave™ refractory panel directs the heat to the glass and heat exchanger, maximizing heat transfer to the room.

AND SOMETHING VERY, VERY NEW: the Tucson DX includes a wireless thermostat, 5-level flame height control, variable speed automatic blower and auxiliary outlet, all controlled by a hand-held remote with child lock-out feature! In "Smart Thermostat" mode, the Tucson DX will actually regulate the flame height up and down to precisely maintain whatever room temperature you choose!
