Three ways to light your Ultrafyre gas logs:

1) Manual Valve - Turn the Pilot Knob to "ON" - the pilot flame lights the burners

2) Connect the Manual Valve to an Optional External Wall Switch.

3) Fire up and adjust flame height with the Hand-Held Battery Powered Remote Control Model
